What we collect
To run the Polyruption Assessment, we collect and store:
- Company profile — company name, tax registration, address, and the name and email of the responsible contact, provided when a client sets up an account.
- Respondent information — the email address and job title of each person invited to complete a questionnaire.
- Assessment responses — answers to questionnaire questions, IT budget figures, and any free-text comments or feedback submitted.
- Account and usage data — login email, password (stored as a one-way hash, never in plain text), and basic activity logs (who did what, and when) used for security and support.
- Payment information — handled directly by our payment processors (Stripe, PayPal, or bank transfer); we do not store full card numbers on our own servers.
Why we collect it
Solely to deliver the assessment service you or your organization requested: authenticating accounts, running the questionnaire, generating your report, processing payment, and providing support when you contact us. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
How it's protected
Company profile fields (tax registration, address, responsible-person details) are encrypted at rest. Passwords are never stored in plain text. Access to raw personal data is logged, and only Berntech staff who need it to deliver the service can view it.
How long we keep it
We retain data for as long as your account is active, plus a limited period afterward as required for legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes. You can request deletion at any time — see below.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers needed to run the platform: our hosting provider, our payment processors (Stripe/PayPal), and our email delivery provider (used solely to send account and assessment-related emails — never marketing lists without separate consent). None of these providers may use your data for their own purposes.
Your rights
You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it entirely. Requests are reviewed by a Berntech administrator before any deletion is carried out.
Request your data be removed
Submit a removal request below — you'll need to confirm it explicitly, since this starts an irreversible process once approved.
